Once downloaded you should sit down with the loanee and work out the terms under which the loan is being made.

You should then ensure that all parties sign it in the presence of a solicitor, who should endorse it as a witness.

If you choose not to use a solicitor, and the Loanee provides someone to witness the signatures, you should also provide a witness, to safeguard against any collusion against you.

You may add any additional terms and conditions you wish, however if you do, you should seek the advice of a solicitor to ensure that there can be no ambiguities.
